Couple yards to go, second down, and you have a running back called "beast mode" who has been getting consistent yards from scrimmage. Yes stupid call, I thought the game was over when the Seahawks got that miracle catch, which would have gone down in Super Bowl history if they would have ended up scoring.

I heard an interesting stat on the radio this morning; the Seahawks ran on the 1-yd line 9 times this year, 5 times with Lynch, and made 1 TD out of those attempts. Apparently Pete Carroll was aware of that, and that's why he chose to pass, but if it's 2nd down, wouldn't you at least run it once or twice before you revert to passing? Seems like a much safer option, but I suppose hindsight is 20/20
